I couldn’t be a Taylor Swift. I would really suck at being Taylor Swift.
I would say don’t take advice from people like me who have gotten very lucky. We’re very biased. You know, like Taylor Swift telling you to follow your dreams is like a lottery winner telling you, ‘Liquidize your assets; buy Powerball tickets – it works!’
It’s great for my daughter to see Beyonce and Taylor Swift, women that are in charge of their own careers, writing songs from their own perspective and taking people to task. That’s very different from when I was growing up – it was all like, ‘Stand by your man.’
You can always spot the professionals. Taylor Swift, she knows what she’s doing.
I associate Taylor Swift with some pretty kinky stuff.
Some people are just gifted with a great voice, other people are gifted with great emotion, other people are gifted with great engagement – when you find all of those things in one package, you have Taylor Swift.
I love Lady Antebellum and Miranda Lambert – they write from the heart. But it’s hard to find a country music lover in L.A. None of my friends really listen to it, and they hate getting in the car with me because I just blast Taylor Swift.
Taylor Swift is just dope. She is an ill songwriter.
I say, ‘Yeah, Taylor Swift.’ I think she is a smart, beautiful girl. I think she’s making all the right moves. She’s got a good head on her shoulders. She’s surrounded with wonderful people. Her songs are great. She keeps herself anchored. She knows who she is, and she’s living and standing by that.
It was incredible being on tour with Taylor Swift: she was the epitome of a professional, and she works so hard. For someone as successful as her to work that hard every night – truly inspirational.
I have always liked Taylor Swift – there is just something about her that is very genuine and sweet. She also has naturally curly hair like me, so that’s cool.
Not many artists or bands go platinum every year, from what people have told me, so it’s an honor to have so many fans. A million people, that’s a lot of people! Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, and Justin Timberlake sell a few million, and so hopefully I’ll make my way up to that.
I would love to work with Karlie Kloss and model for Chanel. And I would love to be in a music video with Lady Gaga or Taylor Swift, my two favorite artists.
Whereas Books of Wonder excels with children’s literature, McNally Jackson is where I go for my adult new releases, and no, it has nothing to do with the fact that Taylor Swift shops there, too.
I don’t know if I want her to sing it with us, but I’m curious to what type of song Taylor Swift would write for us. I’m curious to see what kind of pen she would write for TLC. Or like an Adam Levine. Somebody like that. They’re phenomenal writers.
Who would want to get back together with Taylor Swift after having dated her? I’m sure dating her is like talking to a white sheet of paper with a little bit of vanilla ice cream on it that doesn’t say anything.
